Seasons of Love

525 600 minutes. The minutes of a year. The moments we live. Our life comes down to these minutes. How do you measure a life? The impact it has. How do you measure what it means?

We measure in love.

This week I lost a mentor and a friend. A retired minister who taught me many things. Things like how to transition from one part of a service to another and how to bend the rules to keep life interesting. He was someone to look up to. His life was service. He lived the Gospel. Right up until the end he never stopped sharing the love of Christ with others.

He will be missed.

  1. Stopping by via #UBP11, though I’ve been here before.

I wanted to give my condolences on the loss of your friend. Having recently lost someone very close to me, I understand the pain. I wanted to say “I’m so sorry.” and give you a cyber hug. Even though we know we will see our friends again, there is still a hole that is there. Praying for you.

    • Thanks Kathy. You’re right, there is a hole. Even though we know it’s not forever it’s still hard sometimes. Thank you for your kind words.
